Influenster: Spring VoxBox Review

Okay, folks!  This a wrap on my review of the Spring VoxBox that I was sent by Influenster (thanks, guys!).  Here's one last break-down of what I thought:

Playtex Sport Fresh Balance Tampons
Playtex is always super reliable, and these tampons are no different.  I'm not crazy about scented feminine products, but happy to use them anyways.  The plus side to these being scented is my purse smells fresh and it's not too overpowering or "baby"-scented to bother me much.

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retroglam Mascara
Mascara.  I love mascara!  This Retroglam mascara (in black, of course!) is easy to apply, doesn't clump, and gives me really full, thick, long lashes that I can tone down for the office and juice up with a smoky eye and thick liner for going out for a hot date or girls' night with my friends.  You can't go wrong with a great mascara!

Kiss Everlasting French Nails
While I'm not really the "manicure type" (I prefer a solid pedicure!), I still enjoy a nice-looking set of fingernails!  I like how real they look and after opening up the package, I've sized out all of my nails with the correct sizes in the kit (there are so many to choose from!).  My only delay with applying them is that I have the strangest thumbs on the planet (See this wikipedia article to see what I mean).  Both of my thumbs are short and stubby like this, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were nails in this set to fit them!  The drawback being, of course, that the nails are wayyyy too long to be proportionate.  So I'm working on filing down the base so they are shorter.  :)  I'll post later on when I've had a chance to use them!

Nivea Body Skin Firming Moisturizer
So I love lotion, and it's one of the most handy items to have in my purse or desk at work, or even in the car.  I really like the scent and it's not too overpowering!  One tiny struggle for me with this lotion is that while it goes on really nicely, it stays a little "greasy" for a little while.  If you put it on and have time to lounge around or are pampering yourself, it's great.  But if you're like me and "on-the-go" 98% of the time, you're going to have to slow down and not touch your iPhone four seconds after you apply.  The upside to that, is that it means you have to take a little more time for yourself and it's super moisturizing!

Influenster Review: Playtex Sport Fresh Balance tampons

I am a happy member of Influenster, and was sent a Spring Fling VoxBox to test out some great products.  I have really enjoyed getting to try everything out and love to share my experiences!

First to the plate are the Playtex® Sport® Fresh Balance™ tampons I received.  Since my VoxBox arrived just days after its prime opportunity for me to test these out, I still want to write about them and review, because I already know what to expect.  Playtex is one of my favorite tampon brands to use.  Their applicator is really smooth and easy to use, and the product stays put.  I never have to worry about spotting or the tampon not sitting or feeling right, and those are top priorities for me when it's that time of the month. 

My life does not revolve around having to make accommodations for my period.  It's not the boss of me!

I don't normally ever use scented tampons because they give me headaches just smelling them, and I also feel like that will draw more attention to me when it's not necessarily welcome.  However, these have a really nice, fresh scent that's not like gross baby powder or too overpowering.  Think fresh floral with a fruity undertone.  Anyways, it doesn't seem to be too strong a scent that will irritate me so I'm looking forward to trying them out!  The one time I have used scented tampons were when I had to send my husband to the store for me once (I was desperate) and he didn't know any better than to pick up the first box he saw with the right size and brand.  Of course, they were scented.  I was not thrilled and they didn't work for me, but again, they were high potency and smelled like a nursery (or nursing home).  These are different and I am pleasantly surprised!
